 Gabriel Sealcoating is the area's MOST experienced sealcoating company. Owner Rick Vertucci has been sealcoating driveways and parking lots since he was 16 years old. He is a second generation sealcoater, working in the family business, Gabriel Contractors for 37 years. Rick's father Gabe started the business in 1957. Rick worked alongside his dad working summers during his high school and college summers. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1986 and in 1987 joined the family business full-time upon his Dad's request. Gabe passed away in 2007 and Rick continued in the business in which he did ALL the sealcoating work along with the paving. In 2017, Rick branched off and started the company Gabriel Sealcoating, proudly keeping his Dad's name for his sealcoating business.

  Over the years, Rick has literally sealed, hot crack filled and repaired thousands of driveways and parking lots in the area. Rick's son Alex often works with his Dad and is a 3rd generation sealcoater/contractor. Rick also pride's himself in doing all his jobs personally to keep quality at a high level! If repairs are needed such as pot hole repairs, cracked edges or hot crack fill repair, they have all the latest equipment to do the job right! They have two 600 gallon bulk sealer tanks to any job large or small, plus 2 hot crack filling machines to do any crack repairs efficiently!

Ideally, a driveway or parking lot should be sealed no more than once every 3 years depending on the severity of the winter and traffic on the asphalt. It is actually detrimental to seal every year. The blacktop will become slippery and actually checker and crack on the surface. The purpose of sealcoating is to preserve the asphalt from the spilling of gas and oil and water seeping into the open, porous blacktop.
